Tweed born and bred popular sporting identity Kel Judd has returned to Richard Carter Realty after working in the family fruit and vegetable business for the past six years.

Kel, 49, worked in the Tweed Heads/Coolangatta area from 1983 before helping his parents Kevin and Betty in the family business and now the dedicated agent has picked up his tools and returned to his trade. He is a licensed auctioneer and real estate agent on both sides of the border and uses his extensive knowledge and vast experience of the area where he grew up to best serve his many clients.

Happily married to Mary and with four grown up children, Kel is still doing patrols for the Coolangatta Surf Club and is a die hard boatie training during the week and competing at most carnivals with mixed success but thoroughly enjoying the lifestyle.

He is also a rugby league tragic. After graduating from Tweed River High and playing his junior football with Seagulls he later returned to captain the historic club to an A grade Group 18 premiership win in 1984 before being captain-coach at the Bilambil Jets for the next three seasons. 'Juddy', as he is widely known, also had a run with Eastern Suburbs Roosters in the grades but has been pretty quiet about the tri-colours this season.
